How Our Delivery Process Works

Our delivery process is designed to be as straightforward and transparent as possible. Here's how it works:

  1. Order Processing:

    Once you place an order, our team promptly begins the picking and packing process. The time it takes to prepare your order for shipment depends on the items ordered and your payment method.

    If your order is in stock and payment has been received, we'll have your order ready to be collected and shipped by our couriers the next business day.

    How you pay unfortunately does make a difference, use our credit card option or EFT us using the our bank account at the same bank as you for the quickest delivery. Find our bank accounts here

  2. Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking:

    During the checkout: you will be provided with an Estimated Delivery Date based on your order details and delivery destination. This date reflects the most accurate delivery estimate at the time of purchase. After Paying: you will receive an Order Confirmation email containing an ORDZ number confirming payment. This indicates your order has been accepted and processed. Out with Courier: you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with the subject "FirstShop Invoice Number" containing an invoice number starting with INFC. This indicates that your order has been passed onto our courier for delivery. Orders can be tracked using our invoice number, shipment number, or the original order number. You can also track your order here. You will receive updates via email or SMS as your order progresses through the shipping stages.

  3. Delivery to Your Door:

    We work with trusted local couriers, The Courier Guy, DPD, RTT and others to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. Our couriers deliver from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Once your order is out for delivery, you’ll receive a notification with a more precise delivery window.

Important Notes:
  1. In-Stock Items:

    The delivery times mentioned above apply to items that are marked as "In Stock" at the time of placing your order. If an item is out of stock, it may take additional time for us to fulfill your order. We will update you immediately with any unforeseen stock outs.

  2. Delivery Delays:

    While we strive to meet the delivery estimates provided, there are occasional circumstances beyond our control (such as weather conditions, courier delays, protest action, or strikes) that may affect delivery times. Should there be any unexpected delays, we will notify you promptly.

  3. Remote or Rural Areas:

    For deliveries to outlying or rural areas, please allow for additional delivery time as these regions might not have daily courier services.

  4. Shipment to PO Box Addresses:

    Only physical addresses within South Africa will be accepted. We do not ship to PO Boxes addresses. We unfortunately do not ship to any other country other than South Africa. Get in contact here for a list of exceptions. except for electronic software.

International Shipping Policy:

We unfortunately do not ship to any other country other than South Africa. Get in contact here for a list of exceptions. Products like electronic software that are delivered digitally are available to all customers.

Shipping Rates:

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We have a flat delivery charge of R49 including VAT for orders less than R5000.
